Dieter Ernst

Dieter Ernst es investigador de tiempo completo del Centro de Investigaciones "East-West Center" de Honolulu, Hawai. Es especialista en temas de políticas industriales, tecnologías de la información e innovación en los Estados Unidos, China, India y otras economías emergentes. Destacan sus investigaciones en temas de redes globales de producción, Investigación y Desarrollo (I+D) en industrias de alta tecnología, economías del conocimiento en países de Asia, además de múltiples estudios sobre regímenes de derechos de propiedad intelectual y las políticas de normalización en Asia (especialmente China) y los Estados Unidos.

Se ha desempeñado profesionalmente como asesor científico de gobiernos, empresas privadas y organismos internacionales como la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económico (OCDE), el Banco Mundial, la Oficina Nacional de Investigación Asiática, la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo Industrial.
