Anne Stevenson-Yang

Anne Stevenson-Yang is co-founder and research director of J Capital Research (2007). Her research areas includes: the Internet, medical devices, property rights and China's macro-economy.

She lived in China for more than 25 years. As she stayed there, worked as an industry analyst and business lawyer. Between 1993 and 1997, she led the operations in China of the China-US Business Council. She also served as the CEO of the United States Office of Information Technology.

She began his journalism career in local New York newspapers; She founded and operated a CRM software company, Claridad Data Systems, as well as a publisher whose flagship magazine is City Weekend. She is also a co-founder of a group of online media companies called Blue Bambú Ventures.

In the book, “China Alone. The emergence from, and potential return to isolation”, she exposes her point of view on the Chinese economy and their political system. Besides, she argues that China historically repeats a cycle of expansion and withdrawal.
